REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

To simplify onsite registration, you can download, print and complete the registration forms below.

At registration you will be required to bring the following THREE separate cheques:

1. One cheque payable to BROOKVIEW COMMUNITY LEAGUE for LEAGUE REGISTRATION FEES based on the program you are registering for.

2. One cheque for $50.00 payable to BROOKVIEW COMMUNITY LEAGUE for the UNIFORM deposit.

3. One cheque for $50.00 payable to BROOKVIEW COMMUNITY LEAGUE for the VOLUNTEER deposit

Registrations WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED without presentation of a valid 2009-2010 Community League membership card (available for sale during registration). There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

PROGRAM COSTS

NOTE: If registration is requested after the scheduled registration dates, it will be handled on a space available basis and subject to the $50 late registration

 

PROGRAM 1:  Mighty Mites - AGES 7 to 8 - BORN 2001 or 2002

The cost for the MIGHTY MITES program is $120

The cost includes approximately 14 sessions.  The cost includes a team photo, Mighty Mite t-shirt or jersey, basketball, use of the gym facilities and use of equipment.  Any games played against other communities are also included in the cost, as is a year-end tournament and windup if scheduled.

 

PROGRAM 2:  EYBA City-Wide, Community Based League Play - AGES 9 to 17

The cost for the EYBA city-wide, community based league play will be:

MINI - $155 - BORN 1999 or 2000

BANTAM - $165 - BORN 1997 or 1998

MIDGET - $175 - BORN 1995 or 1996

The cost includes approximately 15 games over the season, and up to 20 practice slots (subject to gym availability).  The cost also includes team registration fees in the EYBA, team photo, referee fees, use of balls, use of equipment and use of team jerseys.

JUVENILE (BORN 1992, 1993 or 1994) league play is separated into two distinct seasons.  The first season will run from October to December and the second season will run from January to March.  The reason for the two season format is to accommodate players who make their high school teams and are not able to commit to the community program after December.

The cost for  the JUVENILE program is $100 per each half season played

The cost per each half season includes approximately 7 games and up to 8 practice slots (subject to gym availability).  The cost also includes team registration fees in the EYBA, referee fees, use of balls, use of equipment and use of team jerseys.

Players participating in the first season are NOT required to continue with the second season. 

PLEASE NOTE: A late registration fee of $50 will apply for all of the above programs after onsite registration is completed.

PROGRAM 3: EYBA City-Wide, Select Zone League Play - AGES 11 to 14 - BORN 1995 to 1998

Players wishing to tryout for the A division league play should register at one of the Riverbend Basketball community registration dates.  If they make the team, the registration fee  will be refunded and they will then pay the appropriate fee to their A team.

The costs for the EYBA city-wide select zone teams is set by the zone. If you wish further information in this regard please contact the SW zone representative identified on the EYBA website at Edmonton Youth Basketball Association
